The Rebel Pride Band: THE BAND

From the West Coast of Florida comes the Rebel Pride Band. RPB is Tampa Bay’s choice as the premier live party band performing original Southern Rock material. Florida has always been rich with southern rock heritage; spawning such great acts as Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Allman Brothers Band, the Outlaws, Molly Hatchet, 38 special and many more. The Rebel Pride Band continues that tradition by taking the influences of all these great bands and developing their own signature sound. The Rebel Pride Band has 3 current independent releases: It Is What It Is, Backin It Up and All Points In Between. They have also worked directly with or opened for such acts as Gregg Allman, Toby Keith, Charlie Daniels, the Marshall Tucker Band and Kenny Chesney. In 2008 RPB appeared as the featured band for an episode of My Biggest Redneck Wedding Ever with Tom Arnold on CMT. Brian Jeffries - Lead / Rhythm Guitars, Vocals

Brian grew up in Princeton, NJ. He began playing the guitar at age 9 and formally studied music at Mercer College and Berklee College of Music. He listened to everything growing up in the college town during the late 60’s and early 70’s but his main influences were mostly southern rock and country however he likes to inject some jazz and big band when the opportunity presents itself. His favorite guitarists include Eric Clapton, Duane Allman, Johnny Winter, Dickey Betts and many more. Brian joined the Rebel Pride Band in 1998 in the beginning. Before that he played with The Traveling Freak Show, Southern Snow and the original Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band Second Helping.

Dave Stevenson - Bass & Vocals

Dave grew up West Orange, NJ and began playing the bass at age 15. In 1978 Dave moved to Florida and began his music career. He has played in the bands called Treez, Fair Warning and “Second Helping” America’s #1 Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band. Dave’s influences include Skynyrd, Ten Year After, Chicago, Deep Purple, Allman Brothers and many more. Dave lays down solid blues, southern rock and country bass lines that are one of the main components for the band’s rhythm section. Dave was nick named “The Thumper” by Dan Toler formerly of the Allman Brothers Band. Dave joined the Rebel Pride Band in 1998.

Pat Buffo - Lead Vocals, Drums, Guitar, Percussion

Pat was born in Pittsburgh, Pa and moved to Florida in his early childhood. He picked up drums and guitar playing with local bands in his teens during high school. Pat is into many different genres of music from death metal to the Dead.Occasionally Pat performs with Bogus Pomp a Frank Zappa tribute band. Pat joined the Rebel Pride Band in 2003. Since then his vocal stylings have become part of the band’s signature sound

Bob Howes - Keyboards-Vocals

Bob was born in Tulsa, Oaklahoma.He moved to the Tampa bay area in 1968.He began playing keys at the age of 20.Bob has been a working musician for 3 decades.He played in bands called The Surfin' Racoons,Big Fish and the All-mighty Southern Snow.His infuences are the late great Billy Powell,Chuck Leavell,Nicky Hopkins and Jon Lord.Bob has 3 solo albums to his credit.He became a member of the Rebel Pride Band on Dec.4,2009
